The 13th Philadelphia International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival (PIGLFF) won't be here for another couple of weeks (it runs July 12-24), but the website is already up and running, featuring the complete schedule for the festival, and online ticket sales begin today, so it's time to get it together if you want to check out your share of gay movies this year! This year's fest features more than 200 films from over 28 countries (including the ever popular screening of Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Troc, movies with great titles like Gay Bed and Breakfast of Horror and Starbooty, and even Philadelphia Film Festival graduates like Suffering Man's Charity), a bunch of crazy parties (including events like the Itty Bitty Titty Festivity, Strikes for Dykes (and Gay Boys Too!), and Queer Kinky Quizzo), and famous guests like RuPaul and Tori Spelling. Obviously you cannot let yourself miss out on all this fabulousness, so log in and buy your tickets today before screenings start selling out.

Since winter has finally decided to grace Philadelphia with its presence, let's be real: You're going to be cold if you head outside no matter what you're wearing. With that in mind, you might as well dig out your best nearly-naked ensemble and head over to the Mandell Theater to party with a "Sweet Transvestite."

Movie Monday at The Troc: Let madness take its toll with The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Johnny Goodtimes will tantalize you Transylvanians before the film, and Transylvanian Nipple Productions Performance Group will perform. The Troc is located at 1003 Arch Street. Doors open at 6PM, feature begins at 7:30 PM. $3 admission is applicable towards concessions.

A tall, icy glass of our favorite internet junk, just for you.

Just because the Festival is officially over, doesn't mean that you're done hearing about it. No, no, no. Somebody Set Us Up the Bomb: The Lunabomber is trying to resurrect the "All Your Base" meme in honor of its fifth year. Phillyist is happy to help, because we'd rather see "All Your Base" make a triumphant return than the dreaded Dancing Hamsters.

You could spend your weekend preparing snacks for and making bets on Sunday's Oscar hoopla or you could spend it digging up sparkly, gold-sequined hats, black fishnets and the reddest red lipstick on the market; because come Monday night, after Jon Stewart's opening monologue is already passé water-cooler fodder, the utterly fabulous (yet never nominated by the Academy) film classic, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, will be showing at the World Cafe.

We're sorry we're late this week, folks. There was just so much good theatre this week that we found ourselves a little overwhelmed, and we needed a moment to handle the excitement.

, this show is for you. Playing at the Prince Music Theatre, downtown, October 1-30.
