We told you about the possibility of an Apple store coming to Center City last January. But, that was quickly nixed. It looks like that may change, however, as the design plans for a new store near 16th and Walnut streets go before the city Art Commission tomorrow. Apple has already posted job listings on its web site for the new store, so it's looking good, though an official announcement about the new store hasn't been made. Plans for the building include the trademark, futuristic all-glass exterior. Apple said last week that it will open between 25 and 50 new stores across the country in 2010. The company opened 54 stores between July 2008 and July 2009, but it is known for being picky about its urban locations. We'll keep you posted. (Via Metro Philadelphia.)

A couple of months ago, we tried seeing The Graduate's concert and we also interviewed the lead singer, Corey Warning. We were very excited for the concert because Anhedonia, their newly released record, was playing non-stop. Unfortunately we missed most of the show, so we promised that we would see them again when they came through Philly. Finally, they will be here at the First Unitarian Church on Friday night. If you hadn't heard...

Lucky for you, rockers, Sea Wolf is making a stop in the Illadelph-I-A. Don’t confuse this Sea Wolf with the Jack London novel. Believe me. The call of the wild (Pun alert! Pun alert!) Sea Wolf will be pouring out of the Trocadero on Monday evening. Alex Church, the multi-instrumentalist solely responsible for Sea Wolf, is going to bang your head like a gong and satiate your need for some silver sun (the Pickup variety).

Well, we were going to tell you about Dracula's Ball, the regular Goth event that happens to occur on Hallowe'en every year (what a coincidence!), but then we had a bright idea: Why do all the work when we can have someone else tell you all about it? So we traded some emails with promoter Patrick Rodgers of Dancing Ferret, and he graciously agreed to answer some spoooooky questions.
