What's new and/or interesting in Philly theaters this weekend. Henry Poole Is Here Luke Wilson plays the Henry Poole of the title, a man shattered by circumstances beyond his control and determined to live out the rest of his life in isolation. But his plans are complicated when a neighbor discovers a stain on his wall with seemingly miraculous powers, and invites her pastor (George Lopez) over to check it out. And meanwhile Henry finds......

A possible plot spoiler for the next Star Trek can be found here. It's an interesting idea... Apparently Midnight Meat Train will be getting a theatrical release after all—just not in Canada. Those poor Canadians. Rumor is they might be taking the "Meat" out of the title,......

Suits, it seems, once a mainstay of American corporate culture, are fast on the road to disappearance, only ever seen, really, at weddings, funerals, and the occasional court date. On the one hand, I'm not really going to complain about the ever-increasing popularity of blue jeans. On the other, this makes me a little sad. Few things are sexier than a man (helloooo, James Bond) or woman (Sharon Stone, Basic Instinct, even before she......

The best of the internet, chopped into tiny bits and grilled for your enjoyment. MoviesOnline has a ton of clips up from the upcoming Neil Marshall film, Doomsday. (Via) The next group in Hollywood we have to worry about striking is the actors. They're represented by the Screen Actors' Guild, who for some reason don't even want to start negotiating with producers until April. So another union, the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists,......

The best of the internet, squirted out in flavorful neon globules, just for you. We don't normally like Sarah Silverman, or Jimmy Kimmel, but we have to admit, her music video about Matt Damon, and Jimmy Kimmel's response, are pretty funny. A far filthier parody can be found here, just make sure to keep the headphones on. (Via Jill) Ladies and gentlemen, we present the new pinnacle of food: the meat bundt. (Via Sarah) Wow.......

The best of the internet, chopped into tiny bits and grilled for your enjoyment. How about those Oscars? If you just want a list of all the winners, IMDB can help (go Coen brothers! Woo!). Forgive "boss," but I've been listening to a lot of James Brown so that has somehow crept back into my vernacular. Today is one of those days when, if you have a crappy commute like this Phillyist, you may be working from home. Which means that in between checking e-mails and working on files, you can fit in a little "you" time. Don't take this gift of a day and waste it with cleaning or......

If there is one thing I've learned from the recent writers' strike, it is this: Writers don't matter. So, in tribute to this brave, cavalier thinking on the part of the suits and moneymen in the Hollywood playground, I am going to do them one better. As of this writing, cinematographers, set designers, and editors don't matter either. That's why this, my incredibly long guide for winning your local Oscar pool, will focus only......

You probably heard by now that some important nominations got announced this morning: the Razzies!
