When we first heard Bryan Scary & The Shredding Tears (MySpace), we honestly weren't sure what to think. Scary's style is very familiar to us; among the things that came to our mind when listening to his project's MySpace page: The Beatles circa , and Of Montreal. Sometimes we get a little concerned about always comparing the artists we cover to other bands, but in Bryan Scary's case, we don't think he'd mind—the "About" section of Scary's official site mentions comparisons to The Beatles, Queen, and Of Montreal.
