Red cups, ping-pong balls, an 8-foot long table and a couple of pitchers of your favorite throwaway beer made for a great night of drinking in college. Sooner or later (hopefully sooner) you graduated, maybe took that beer pong table with you and set up your new life as a functioning adult. Before too long, you probably glanced at that lonely-looking table in the corner of your living room or basement and thought that maybe, you had outgrown that favorite of collegiate activities. Eventually that table soaked in Coors Light, ramen noodles, fond memories (and maybe a little vomit) made its way to the garbage, never to be heard from again. Enter longtime friends Jerry Piscatelli, Sal Laudano and their brainchild, the Port-O-Pong.

In the summer of 2005, Jack's Mannequin (MySpace)—the spinoff-turned-focal project of Something Corporate frontman Andrew McMahon—put out one of the catchiest, most hook-laden albums we've ever heard, was a clear, and substantial, step up from McMahon's prior work, and evidenced a young songwriter who was really starting to hit a groove.

It might seem to you, the casual reader, that Phillyist is everywhere, covering everything from theatre to concerts to film – but every once in a while, there's an event that we don't cover and we really wish we had. Enter The Artclash! Collective's Fun-a-Day 4 event that took place on Saturday. Fortunately for us, although we couldn't be there, Studio 34 Yoga, which hosted the event, put up a nice little timelapse video so we could get the experience of the whole evening in just a few seconds.
