Law enforcement officials are looking for a waste of life who completely duct-taped a cat and abandoned it in North Philadelphia. Thankfully, veterinarians and nurses from the Pennsylvania SPCA were able to remove all of the duct tape and the cat is doing very well. A $1000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the asshole responsible.
The Creative Steps day camp kids apparently had a fantastic time on their Tyler Perry-sponsored trip to Disney World. Duh.
The Valley Club has invited Creative Steps back to its pool after previously nixing their invitation. Amid a storm of controversy, John G. Duesler, Jr., has extended the invitation to the city camp of Northeast Philadelphia because "it's the right thing to do."

- Former State Senator Vincent Fumo is set to be sentenced today. Even though Fumo's defense team passed along more than 250 letters of support from various political figures, he is widely expected to face prison time.
- Creative Steps rejected the Valley Club's offer to return to the swim club. Additionally, the summer day camp announced plans to sue the club.
- Barry Mescolotto has been caught double-dipping. Mescolotto, a member of the Board of Revision of Taxes, sent e-mails to SEPTA representatives conducting business in his side-venture which is selling train parts to the transportation authority.

This is a big week for bad behavior and well deserved bad press. As reported approximately, absolutely, everywhere, sixty-five children were booted from the pool at the Valley Club in Huntingdon Valley for the terrible crime of skin pigmentation. As they jumped into the pool, white children were called out of the pool by their Jim Crow throwback parents. One camper, Dymire Baylor, overheard one woman say, "Uh, what are all these black kids doing here?' She's like, 'I'm scared they might do something to my child."
