The Phildelphia Exhibitions Initiative (PEI) announced today that they had awarded almost $1.2 million dollars to eight visual arts organizations and two teams of independent curators for outstanding visual arts exhibitions and visual arts planning. While we're big supporters of PEI and send our well-deserved congratulations to all the awardees, we couldn't help but notice that the PEI national selection panel was made up entirely of museum (and other art venues) curators and fine arts......
