Hi, I would like to suggest trainlogic.net. It offers a free mobile application for train commuters that displays train schedule and includes trip planner. SEPTA, PATCO and NJ TRANSIT are all included. The beauty of this application is that it does not need to go online each time to get the schedule - it stores the schedules locally on the phone - which makes the app much faster and also means anyone (even people without internet access on the phone, still a vast majority) can use it. The schedule updates are downloadable. For more details please visit the website or contact info@trainlogic.net.

Do you like to ride a bike? Do you want our cities to be powered by renewable energy?
Join Climate Ride, the first ever multi-day bicycle tour to promote renewable energy and solutions to global warming. And the best part? It charts a course right through the outskirts of the Philadelphia area.
From September 20th to 24th, join us for a ride from New York City to Washington, D.C., following scenic back country roads through New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.
Along the way, climate experts will address the cyclists on the solutions to our climate problem. This is a unique event - it's a fund raiser and a climate conference on wheels.
Registration is open, and a few spots are still available. Visit www.climateride.org for more info.

a day when no one would run up the art museum steps and do the Rocky jump. the art museum people are such party poops. (and it is amazing that they would block out this memorable landmark on the weekend of the big bike race - real smart Philly!)

Apparently, it's Air Force Week: http://pub50.bravenet.com/forum/4226496069/show/634838
That would explain the planes, I think!

I saw them, too and couldn't get anything on the news about them. A group of four went over late this morning around 11 am as I was walking by the Constitution Center. There were a large group of people in camos on the deck of the CC at some event and they were cheering. Maybe the two are related?

Looks like it may be re-branding. The WYBE website now has all sorts of stuff about MIND. Info is here.
on 05/20/2008
WTF happened to WYBE?
Comcast seems to have replaced it with some channel called MIND.

Different artist. That one was a hoax, btw.
on 04/29/2008
if it's true the artist should be arrested
on 04/29/2008
is that the artist who let the dog starve as an art exhibit. he should be jailed.
on 04/29/2008
That article doesn't, but Wikipedia and other newspapers do. Check out the post on Phillyist, where they talk about it.
