Breaking News: Orange Line Shooting

broadolney.jpgPhiladelphia is feeling less safe by the day. There was a shooting today, this time in the middle of the day in the stairwell to the southbound Broad Street Line at Olney.

According to 6abc.com:

Medics transported one person to Einstein Medical Center: a 27-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He is listed in critical condition.

A second shooting victim, a 26-year-old man, showed up at Einstein with a gunshot wound to the shoulder.

Police are looking for two black men -- one wearing all black clothing, the other wearing a white tee shirt with blue shorts and a green baseball hat -- who may have fled in a beige Maxima with possible Front end damage with a possible license plate of GKR 3837.

We'll try to have an update on this story on Monday. Meanwhile, stay safe this weekend and keep an eye peeled out there.

Orange Line?
Sounds like someone is not from around here.

Why does every -ist have a smartass who thinks no one else is as authentic as he/she is? Give it a rest, James. People can call the subway whatever the hell they want.

Word, Drew. Word.
