How Dirty Are They?

DOP.jpg
Dirty on Purpose are hitting the Khyber Friday night, and Phillyist will be on hand to discover the answer to the question posed in the title of this article. Also on the packed bill of indie bands are Audible, Relay, and Remote Islands.

Dirty on Purpose already has a critically acclaimed EP out (with the inspirational and educational title Sleep Late for a Better Tomorrow), but now they're out touring behind their debut full-length release slated to come out in April of this year. You can download a track from the EP at their website (linked above), or listen to more tracks from the same EP at their myspace page, but to hear anything from their new album it looks like you'll just have to show up Friday night at the Khyber. From what we've listened to, their stuff seems to be quite nice mellow indie pop, so Phillyist will see you there.

Oh and, uh, don't bring the kids. Apparently Dirty on Purpose are dirty enough to rate a 21 and over show.
